Day 5 will be a special event, the "Ascent of the Giant". You will climb Tourmalet
from Bagneres accompanied all the way by live music bands to cheer you on. The other
days will offer you a daily choice between one to three climbs among the
Pyrenees's best. These climbs include other 2010 Tour de France passes such as Soulor, Aubisque, Peyresourde and Port de Bales, as well as some of the most prestigious
mountain finishes such as Hautacam, Luz-Ardiden, Superbagneres and Pla-d'Adet.
- Day 1: Discovery of the lower remote mountain
valleys
- Day 2: Col du Soulor, Col d'Aubisque and/or Col du
Couraduque
- Day 3: Hautacam & Luz-Ardiden or Port de
Boucharo & Cirque du Troumouse
- Day 4: Hourquette d'Ancizan & Col d'Aspin
- Day 5: Special Event: Ascent of the Giant (Tourmalet eastern climb)
- Day 6: Col d'Azet (Val-Louron) and/or Pla-d'Adet
- Day 7: Col de Peyresourde & Superbagneres or Col du Portillon, Mente,
Portet-d'Aspet
- Day 8: Port de Bales & Col du Portillon or Superbagneres
