July 19: After I welcome you to your hotel, we'll ride Hourquette d'Ancizan first, then Col d'Aspin, which will be featured tomorrow in Stage 16.
-
July 20: We'll climb spectacular Col d'Aubisque in the morning and later mix with the other fans, cheering our heroes on as they attack the final climb of Stage 16. Afterwards, we'll return to our hotel
with the possibility of finishing a perfect day by climbing a little known but breathtaking mountain pass.
-
July 21: While the pros rest in Pau, famous for its beauty, art and history, we'll leave from there to begin our ride of the entire* Stage 17. We'll climb tough Marie-Blanque and spectacular Soulor, then finish with the giant of the Pyrenees: Tourmalet. The roads will already be lined with fans and they're delighted to cheer amateur climbers with the same enthusiasm that they do the pros—all in all, it's a magical experience!
-
July 22: This is the last mountain stage of the Tour, the one you rode yesterday as the fans cheered you on. We'll climb Tourmalet from the other side today, again through the crowds of fans, and get our place to see who will be crowned Maillot Jaune and to cheer the 2010 winner of the Tour de France. You'll treasure those moments forever.
-
July 23: Today we'll leave the crowds behind to capture the real essence of the Pyrenees on two of my absolute favorite climbs and then celebrate the entire unforgettable experience on your last night in town.
* You need to be able to complete one major climb each day so we can get to the tops of the passes to see the race but we'll have a support vehicle so you don't need to ride all of Stage 17 in one day. It is challenging but we will pace ourselves and you can bail out at any time if you need to.
All of this for just
€ 1,923 Euro per person? Unbelievable!
